MIXING AND TESTING

Easy Pour is normally mixed in the plastic container used to ship it. This container has a capacity of six gallons, but it is filled with only five gallons, allowing room for proper mixing. To use, simply pour the 16oz bottle of Blue Activator (shipped separately), into the gel, and mix until uniformly blue. We can recommend or supply high efficiency mix blades that can be used in a simple variable speed hand drill.

When large volumes of gel are required, it is usually shipped in fifty-five gallon drums. The gel is poured in five-gallon increments and mixed as described in the above paragraph. To activate small amounts of gel, add 2.5% of the Blue Activator by weight. One gallon (8lbs) will require 3.5oz of Activator.

Gel should always be tested before using. Please consult factory for proper test method. It is important to use only the recommended amount of Blue Activator. Using more or less may vary the softness [penetration] of the final product.
